Mission Statement: The GMACC Governmental Affairs Committee promotes awareness & involvement to representative democracy.
GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
- The GMACC Governmental Affairs Committee meets as needed throughout the year.
- Madison/DSU Hosts the Legislature (MDHL) - Typically held in early February, the GMACC & DSU organize a bus trip to the State Capitol Building in Pierre to attend Legislative Committee Meetings, Senate & House General Sessions & a tour of the SD Crime Lab.
- Legislative Forums - These events are held as needed throughout the year.
